After the success of last year's joint Summer Ball, we have again joined forces with Swansea University Students Union and Trinity College Students Union, to put on the biggest Summer Ball event ever in our history!

On Wednesday the 9th of June, the Summer Ball will be the only place to end the year and get your summer off to an epic start.
This Year, Swansea is set to be the envy of every University and Student Union in the Country as the massive BRIT award winning Florence and the Machine headline this year’s ball. Fresh from scooping the top gong at the BRIT Awards and performing the soundtrack that will no doubt, rule your summer, including the massive tune ‘You’ve Got The Love’, Florence and the Machine will prove to be the spark that set’s this year’s ball alight!

If this wasn’t enough, we’re flying in American Rockers, Wheatus, to this year’s festivities where they will be performing their massive array of student anthems, including ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ and ‘A little Respect’. For those who prefer to Rave than Rock, Wales’ very own High Contrast will be headlining the dance arena and taking the crowd through to the early hours! Navi, the World’s leading tribute to Michael Jackson is also joining this years bill and trust us when we tell you that this guy has to be seen to be believed!

We have a whole host of other live acts along with some of the finest up and coming comedians the UK has to offer… There’s Jugglers, Magicians, Jager Girls, Photographers, Street Performers, Dancers, DJ’s and much more!

Following on from the success of SB09 the Main Arena will again be undercover in a circus tent, so no matter what our humble Swansea weather may bring, Ents has got you covered.

The dress code is simply Black Tie.

Generally the lads wear tuxes or shirt’n’ties and the ladies opt for a gown or dress. Suit fittings and hire will be available from Fulton House in the weeks leading up to the event for any gents who don’t have their own formal wear.
