What is a constitution?

The constitution is the governing document of the Students' Union. It is the document that lays out exactly the types of things the Students' Union should be doing and how those things should be done.

It describes in detail which officers the union should have and which committees should exist to ensure the members can control their organisation.

It also describes what members should do if they are unhappy with something in the union.

This is the document which enables the members to have control.
