Voluntary Work in Swansea
Swansea Volunteer Bureau (part of Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS) the umbrella charity for the Voluntary Sector in Swansea) is the one-stop-shop for information on 100's of volunteering opportunities in the City and County of Swansea.
Local groups and organisations who take on volunteers to support their work come to us with their opportunities, and we then offer free information, advice and guidance to any member of the public who would like to take part in voluntary work. The majority of charities that are registered with us reimburse any out of pocket expenses (travel, etc.), and will provide access to specialist training; so you don't need to worry about money or expertise to give your time where it's needed!
Volunteering looks great on you CV, and can be a fantastic way of gaining practical experience to boost your employability - all with the knowledge that the time you give will make a real difference to people's lives.
Whether you are interested in Conservation or Art, Administration or Youth Work, with details of more than 300+ opportunities, we can help you find an opportunity that you'll enjoy.
A very small selection of our current options can be found on these pages (we will change them each month). If you would like the contact details of any of these groups then please call us at the Bureau on: 01792 544000.
