SCHEDULE F - THE ROLE OF APPOINTMENTS & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE
1. General
1.1 Appointments & Elections Committee shall oversee the smooth running and legality of all appointments and elections of Trustees, Part-time Executive and Student Council Representatives.
1.2 The Committee shall lay down rules and procedures to ensure appointments and elections are fair and consistent with all applicable legislation.
2. Membership and Meetings
2.1 The Committee shall meet when necessary as directed by the Trustee Board, but shall meet at least once per year to review the rules and regulations relating to appointments and elections.
2.2 The membership of the Committee shall be determined by the Trustee Board as it deems appropriate. In general, there should be at least one more Sabbatical/Student Trustee than Co-opted Trustee present.
2.3 The minutes of the meetings of the Committee shall be passed to the Trustee Board for information purposes.
