MetSU Active

ACTIVE is the home of MetSU activities. Active includes all the teams, clubs and societies that students run throughout the year, which anyone can join. There is something for everyone from Football to the Christian Union to Volunteering. If you don’t see anything that you like, then you can set up your own team, club or society with the support of the SU.

How to join MetSU ACTIVE

To join Active and become a member of our clubs and societies then simply:

ACTIVE Sports
(Competitive)

BUCS Registered:
* Men's Football (3 teams)
* Women's Hockey
* Women's Netball
* Women's Football

* Men's Rugby Union

Other:
* Surf Club

* Karting Club

Membership will provide you with the following:
- Insurance cover (accidents/injury)
- Organised Transport
- Administration budget
- BUCS registration and affiliation

ACTIVE Sports

* American Football
* Ultimate Frisbee

Membership will provide you with the following:

- Help with kits and pitch hire

You will need to purchase membership in order to join a team, club or society.
No membership, NO PLAY!
Non-membership means you are not covered by our insurance and puts MetSU at risk. Failure, and repeated failure, to ignore this rule will jeopardise the teams future and the individual's ability to join in MetSU activities.
