Live entertainment for St David’s Week Swansea

See the best of Welsh music in Swansea when the St David’s Week Festival opens with The Automatic at the Brangwyn Hall on 22 February.  The four piece rock band are playing a one- off show during their UK tour to launch their third album, ‘Tear the Signs Down’ recorded in Cardiff during 2009.

The band’s explosive live performances have earned rave reviews across the country and will give Welsh fans a chance to hear tracks from the new album as well as chart favourites, ‘Monster’, ‘Recover’ and ‘Steve McQueen’. The Automatic will be supported by Straight Lines, tickets £12

See five of the best new Welsh bands for just a fiver on 23 February when Killing for Company (headlining), Audiocalm, Cuba Cuba, Tiger Please and A New Day descend on Swansea for another night of crashing guitars, anthemic choruses and soaring vocals.

Milkwood Jam is the venue for contemporary poet Patrick Jones on March 1.  Patrick will be performing a selection of his works backed by musicians Dean and Kevin Meyrick.
